Invisible Eyes - Laugh In The Dark - Bomp

Bomp is back with another great release! The Invisible Eyes are an incredible primitive stomp/garage/psyche band capable of launching your mind into a trance like hysteria whilst begging your backbone to let slip. Unlike a lot of wimpier psyche that has seemed to proliferate the genre over the years, these guys can punch out a real rock n' roll energy. So much of that stuff begs you to smoke reefer, lay down, and die. The Invisible eyes, by contrast, beckon you to get off yer ass and shake a tail feather. The sound has some serious kick to it and is not slowed down in the slightest by their distorted vocals, fuzzed out guitars, and omni present organ. There are a few songs that I wasn't crazy about but they are really the exception to the rule on this one. This is probably the most interested record I have heard in a long, long time and comes highly recommended.
